Role: Creator, Director and Dancer

Solo performance exploring themes of belonging, identity, and protagonism through movement and self-inquiry. Using salt as a sacred material, the artist created a safe space for a shared ritual, combining contemporary dance and Candombe. (Afro-Uruguayan dance and music). The work-in-progress was shared with audiences in London and Brazil. The research was mentored by Orrow Bell and Tom Hastings.

This was a hybrid show combining live music, contemporary dance, performance, and video mapping. The performance was held at the Auditorium Tasso Corrêa, Arts Institute of the University of Rio Grande do Sul in Porto Alegre. The work was born from contemporary experimentation and explored the poetic overflow of collaborative practices.

Umas e Outras is a duet performance that addresses gender violence in Brazil. As co-creator and performer, I incorporated elements of circus and contemporary dance, using acrobatics, body balance, and an aerial trapeze number. The work was performed in Porto Alegre and toured Mato Grosso do Sul State, with workshops offered to women victims of gender violence. Beyond the live show, the project culminated in a final exhibition of visual material and texts.

The performances were held in Porto Alegre and toured Fortaleza, the State of Ceará, and Salvador de Bahia.

Desvio is a dance project for the street that was inspired by three neighbourhoods in Porto Alegre, with a focus on researching the body movements of pedestrians, car drivers, shopkeepers, and community residents. It involved traffic signalling standards as a motto. The work was performed in the city of Porto Alegre and toured across Sao Paulo city and Sao Paulo State.
